Tami's New Car

Tami's poor little Uncle Rico car bit the dust once and for all......in July. She finally got up the courage to buy her new car. In the which there was much discussion as to what to name her new vehicle. So, with much anticipation and pleasure, we proudly introduce,

THE CAR THAT SHALL NOT BE NAMED!

Psycho Mini Putt

In June, Tami and I had the priveledge of being hostesses to my cousin Denver for a couple of weeks. While he was here, he and I did many a thing around this wonderful Salt Lake Valley, of which I will post on my family blog instead of this one. Anyway, one of the activities Tami was actually able to join us in was a round of mini golf over at the Hollywood Connection. For any of you who may want to go golfing with this woman, word of warning....

WEAR A HELMET!

Yes, you heard me correctly. I have NEVER mini putted with someone who literally had to yell "FORE" at more than one hole. She managed to bounce one ball off the back wall of the complex and sunk one into the only water hole on the course! And did I mention using her putter as a cue stick??? She is pure entertainment!

so, yes, i know, i am the worst blogger in the world! i have issues even checking my email let alone my facebook page, and then to add this on top, boy! i gotta get my act together! i am usually better about posting pics on here than on facebook. so stick with us crew!! we will get posts out!
way back in april, we celebrated Tami's birthday in a big way. it was actually a dual birthday party for her and another friend of ours, Kandus. since Kandus has already posted her pics on her facebook and blogspot, these are dedicated to Tami and her birthday.

We ate at the Rio Grande Cafe, one of Tami's favorite mexican restaurants. I gave the camera over to a bunch of different people there so thus the craziness of some of them. after we had dinner, we meaning Tami and I came back to our place followed by her buddy Alicia and Sharon. We then proceeded to laugh half the night away by singing karaoke to our Guitar Hero. It's a night none of us will be soon to forget!

Once upon a time, we had a beautiful roommate nicknamed Wilson. She met this tall, dark, deep voiced, handsome man nicknamed Throop. They went out on a date that she asked him on. One thing led to another, there was some sort of smooching and some exchange of a ring somewhere and next thing ya know, she moves out! Managed to get married in a Big White House (we're not talking the capital here people!) over President's Day weekend and a couple kids later, wouldn't ya know it, the great husband that he is, invites HER friends to dinner with them for THEIR wedding anniversary present! MEN OF THE WORLD LISTEN UP! Let your girlfriends, wives, and mothers hang out with their friends once in awhile! It's great for them and you!

So, the moral of the story is, when one roommate gets married off, we gained another fantastic one to fill the room and our hearts. Not to mention we still love Throop for taking such good care of our amazing Wilson girl!

For New Year's Eve we were lucky enough to spend it with our great friends Kandus and Leesh playing Guitar Hero and having a great dinner! Kuddos Leesh!

So both Tami and I were able to go to Idaho for Christmas and we obviously didn't get many pictures there, but the one I got of her is a very typically funny Tami pose with her new handmade hat from my mom to her. hope you enjoy!

Polar Express 2008

So for my birthday present from Tami this year, she knew I love trains and thought it would be a great idea to do the Polar Express on the Heber Creeper! And what a great idea it was! Though we were a couple of the only peeps on the train without children, it was fun to sing Christmas songs, eat a cookie, drink hot chocolate, and say hi to Old St. Nick himself! We were too slow to get a pic with Santa Claus sorry! Enjoy!
